BACH FLOWER REMEDIES
UNDERSTANDING DR. BACH’S FLOWER HEALING REMEDIES
Dr. Edward Bach, after many years of research, realized that our way of thinking, feeling, and emotions influences our physical health. Good health for humans and animals depends on harmony, rhythm, and positive experiences in life and training. Medical research has backed up this premise with scientific findings validating this methodology.
After many years of treating patients, he noticed that there was a correlation between disease and mental states and began to understand that treating the physical symptoms was not enough. He felt that the person needing treatment also needed to overcome their worries, fears, depression, and hopelessness. Horses are no different when it comes to other mental states. He needed to test and prove his methods to further his research, so he became a bacteriologist and eventually encountered homeopathy. Working with the founder of homeopathy, he found that remedies were also prescribed for the patient's personality, characteristics, and physical symptoms.
Over time Dr. Bach isolated seven groups of intestinal flora and prepared nosodes from them homeopathically giving them to his patients by mouth. Their purpose is to cleanse and purify the intestinal tract. They were so successful they are still used today. Thus, began his search for pure remedies from nature; plants, flowers and trees. After years of testing the 38 flower remedies to cover the 38 negative states of mind from which mankind suffers were isolated and became the basis of his system.
The 38 remedies are broken into 7 groups. Those for fear; for uncertainty and indecision; for loneliness; for insufficient interest in present circumstances; for over-sensitiveness to ideas and influences; for despondency and despair; for the over-care for the welfare of others
1. FEAR: Rock Rose, Mimulus, Cherry Plum, Aspen, Red Chestnut
2. UNCERTAINTY: Cerato, Scleranthus, Gentian, Gorse, Hornbeam, Wild Oat
3. FOR INSUFFICIENT INTEREST IN PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES: Clematis, Honeysuckle, Wild Rose, Olive, White Chestnut, Mustard, Chestnut Bud
4. LONELINESS: Water Violet, Impatiens, Heather
5. FOR THOSE OVER-SENSITIVE TO INFLUENCE AND IDEAS: Agrimony, Centaury, Walnut, Holly
6. FOR DESPONDENCY OR DESPAIR: Larch, Pine, Elm, Sweet Chestnut, Star of Bethlehem, Willow, Oak, Crab Apple
7. FOR OVER-CARE FOR WELFARE OF OTHERS: Chicory, Vervain, Vine, Beech, Rock Water
Each remedy is an important part of healing and it helps the person understand more about themselves and encourages guidance in a positive direction. The remedies also help animals move in a positive direction toward health and improved mental states.
This is powerful work that benefits both humans and animals.
REMEDY MAKEUP:
For humans and animals, I use muscle testing if I am directly with the animal or human to come up with remedies, I can also test and evaluate remotely using a picture along with answers to a few questions. I also discuss issues and problems with the owner (animals) to understand what the desired outcome is that we are working towards then a remedy is put together to be administered by mouth or in their water. I will suggest that the owner use up the bottle and then we retest to see what has changed.
REMOTE EVALUATION AND REMEDY AVAILABLE
